ARE YOU OUR NEW SALES SPECIALIST - AQUACULTURE

In this position you will have a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge of leading recognized technological solutions and build networks within Norwegian Aquacultures industry. As our new Sales Specialist - Aquaculture you will lead sales activities from start to finish with the support of our tender team and specialists. Through a dynamic collaboration with skilled colleagues from various departments third-party suppliers and close contact with the customer you will be responsible for your own sales budget and together with the rest of the Aquaculture team secure sustainable growth targets within the Aquaculture segment in Northern Europe.

ABB believes in a better sustainable and healthy future for producing Salmon and believes we can be a key supplier in the market.

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer/area responsibility
  • Build long-term customer relationships to position ABB in the growing market.
  • Promote and sell ABBs complete solution portfolio into selected market segmentswith full accountability for achieving the sales targets.
  • Understand evolve and implement Sales and Market Strategy.
  • Responsible/Leading the bid during the whole sales phase - from the lead phase until landing the order.
  • Establish and lead pursuits in close collaboration with Segment Manager and other sales personnel.
  • Tight integration and collaboration with the organization for market development studies and solutions as well as other sales and marketing functions

Your background

  • Formal requirements:
  • Engineering degree (BSc MSc) within electrical automation engineering or similar
  • Professional with more than 10 years experience in sales studies or engineering.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English (Written and Spoken)
  • Strong interest in and passion for Aquaculture marked.

  • Personal qualities:
  • Strong communications skills
  • Structured and quality minded.
  • Team spirit and team oriented.
  • Hunger to create value for ABB.
  • Willingness and possibilities to travel on relatively short notice.
  • Suitable candidates will be considered even if experience or formal education is not according to the requirements above.
