We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Communication Manager to join our team in this pivotal role you will develop and implement strategic communication initiatives that align with our corporate objectives manage crisis communications and take over internal and external corporate communication projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape Clariants communication landscape across regions and business units.

Responsibilities

  • Design global communication processes and establish regional communication networks through ambassador engagement
  • Translate complex corporate topics into clear compelling communications for various audiences
  • Direct our global advertising material platform ensuring brand consistency across all communication channels
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure consistent and effective messaging
  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans for corporate initiatives and provide expert consultation to leadership teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs for Clariants Integrated Annual Report as a key member of the Project Management Office
  • Lead crisis communication efforts including strategy development spokesperson duties training and reputation risk management
  • Maintain 24/7 crisis response capability when required

Requirements

  • University degree in marketing journalism communications public relations or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in communication functions including 2 years in crisis communications (preferably B2B)
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German
  • Excellent strategic communication skills with ability to craft compelling content and translate complex topics for various audiences
  • Strong project management capabilities with experience handling complex communication projects
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and coordinate international networks
  • Professional approach to managing sensitive topics with agility in responding to evolving priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence without direct authority
