About the Context

NRC has been present in Nigeria since 2015 and has been working to help displacement affected communities meet their basic needs improve their livelihoods access essential services and enhance their resilience to future shocks.

NRCs programming in Nigeria has a strong humanitarian protection and resilience focus that looks to meet vital needs through sustainable solutions to increase early recovery outcomes through integrated program responses.

Additionally NRC is working to strengthen the quality responsiveness integration and sustainability of our programs. This requires high quality monitoring evidence accountability and learning systems in place to ensure the oversight and effectiveness of our programs for the people we serve.

  1. Performance management process: setting clear goals aligned to country strategy and priorities and to follow up and support staffs achievement.
  2. Responsible for key processes as workforce planning recruitment staff induction and development and ensure Duty of Care for own staff.
