Your Key Responsibilities:

Join our forward-thinking team of solution architects and play a pivotal role in driving technological innovation within the financial sector. As a member of our team you will:

• Craft Strategic Architectural Visions: Develop and refine the overarching technology architecture strategy to support our clients financial services business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design Cutting-Edge Solutions: Architect scalable secure and resilient solutions that address complex business challenges and deliver value to our clients.
• Facilitate Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business leaders IT experts and third-party vendors to ensure a shared understanding and alignment of technology solutions with business objectives.
• Lead Technology Selection: Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions that enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Guarantee that all architectural designs adhere to financial regulations security standards and data protection laws.
• Support Project Execution: Provide technical leadership across projects ensuring timely delivery budget adherence and quality outcomes.
• Manage Risks Proactively: Identify and mitigate potential risks within the technology landscape to maintain system integrity and reliability.
• Drive Performance Improvements: Analyse current systems and processes to recommend enhancements that optimize performance and user experience.
• Mentor and Develop Talent: Lead and nurture a team of architects and engineers promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Skills and Attributes for Success

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture preferably within the financial services industry demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in modern technologies and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with cloud services cybersecurity and infrastructure
• A deep understanding of financial services operations regulatory requirements and emerging FinTech trends.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions.
• A strategic mindset to align technology solutions with business goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience of working with the Agile methodology.

Ideally you will also have:

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g. TOGAF AWS Certified Solutions Architect etc.) may be preferred or required.
• Familiarity with Agile DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to improve the speed and quality of software development.
• Experience working in or with international teams understanding of global markets and the ability to navigate cultural differences.
• Experience in negotiating with and managing third-party vendors and service providers.
• Ability to work across various domains and systems and willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
