Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Cook to join our team at the Holiday Inn Conference Center. As a cook you will be responsible for contributing to the overall excellence of our restaurant by preparing and cooking delicious meals for our guests. This is a great opportunity for a skilled organized and creative cook to join a growing team in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen at all times.
- Prepare workstations and ensure kitchen equipment is ready for use.
- Ensure all ingredients meet the highest quality standards.
- Cook food using various culinary techniques and adhere to recipe standards.
- Ensure drinks are served with bartending techniques when applicable.
- Arrange food and drinks to ensure appealing presentation.
- Manage food storage stock levels and ingredient orders to maintain kitchen inventory.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary position.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail especially in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Ability to handle food and drink orders with care and precision.
