Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract Opportunity
Location: Warm Springs MT - Main Campus
Shift: Nights 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (Float)
Schedule: Full-time with rotating nights
Preferred Experience: ID patients Adult Psych Autism Spectrum patients
Local candidates to Montana preferred

Warm Springs MT - Main Campus Night Shift (7p-7a) Float Position. Experience with Intellectual Disabilities Adult Psychiatric care or Autism Spectrum patients required. Local Montana candidates strongly preferred.
Complete Description
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) provide direct nursing care and therapeutic support to adult clients in a structured treatment environment. This role involves skilled nursing assessments planning interventions and evaluations under the direction of medical and nursing providers.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising monitoring and accounting for patient safety and well-being.
- Delivering nursing care as directed by providers.
- Observing documenting and reporting changes in patients physical emotional and behavioral status.
- Protecting patient rights and ensuring confidentiality.
- Using therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques when responding to patients.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams.
- Maintaining accurate medical documentation and patient records.
- Participating in a supportive team-based care model.
Shift differential may be available. One meal is provided per shift.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current Montana LPN license or compact state license.
- Minimum 2 years of LPN experience required.
- CPI Certification highly desired.
- BLS Certification required.
- At least 1 year of contract/agency nursing experience preferred.
- Experience working with developmental behavioral or psychiatric disorders strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical documentation assessment and intervention skills.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and safe medication administration.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in using patient care technology and EMR systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN passionate about behavioral health and supporting adult patients in a therapeutic team-based environment.

$20.00 Hourly taxable
$35.00 OT Hourly taxable (initial 8 hrs)
$70.00 OT Hourly taxable (after 48 hrs)
$300.00 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free)
$720.00 Lodging Per Diem (Tax Free)
$1080.00 Taxable
$1020.00 Tax Free
$2100.00 Weekly Before Taxes
