Job Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant First Assist to join our Vascular Surgery Specialists team in Fort Worth. This is a full-time position supporting advanced heart and vascular care with a primary focus on assisting in the OR including vein harvesting and other surgical procedures.
The ideal candidate must have prior operating room experience preferably with vein harvesting and a strong interest in cardiology and vascular surgery. You will play a vital role in delivering minimally invasive treatments and surgical therapies in a high-volume collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
First assist in vascular and cardiology surgeries
Perform vein harvesting procedures
Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Collaborate with surgeons physicians and clinical teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Support inpatient and outpatient care patient education and follow-up
Participate in clinical rounds and documentation

Compensation based on experience
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
EXPERIENCE - More than 1 year of experience in vein harvesting.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
Physician Assistants (PA)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
