Were looking for a Revenue Tax Officer Supervisor to join our Collections Division.
Minimum Qualifications
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of experience in accounting financial auditing tax administration tax policy or law management analysis or administrative services in a financial setting; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of experience in accounting financial auditing tax administration tax policy or law management analysis or administrative services in a financial setting; OR
A bachelors degree plus three years of experience in accounting financial auditing tax administration tax policy or law management analysis or administrative services in a financial setting; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus two years of experience in accounting financial auditing tax administration tax policy or law management analysis or administrative services in a financial setting; OR
Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or a current Louisiana license to practice law plus one year of experience in accounting financial auditing tax administration tax policy or law management analysis or administrative services in a financial setting.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Specification

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
In this role you will:
Plan and organize work inventories and set procedures for the section including assigning duties establishing priorities and implementing procedural changes.
Monitor all work inventories and redirect resources to ensure appropriate staff is available to provide timely service to taxpayers.
Develop motivate and coach Tax Officers and Tax Analysts to help them continuously improve their skills.
Compile and report weekly/monthly work volume statistics

Appointment Type: Promotional or Detail to Special Duty open only to current permanent employees ofLouisiana Department of Revenue.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
