These individuals analyse client needs implement software solutions and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.As a Guidewire developer at PwC you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration claims management and billing. You will be responsible for designing coding and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.

As part of theBusiness ApplicationConsultingteamyoull focus onsoftware development for Guidewire theSenior Associaterole youll solve complex problems mentor junior team members and uphold high standards to deliver impactful solutions while cultivating strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Design develop andoptimizeETL processesusing SSIS to support Guidewire data migration and integration initiatives.
- Performdata analysis profiling and validationto ensure data quality and consistency across PolicyCenterBillingCenterClaimCenter and related systems.
- Lead and supportdata conversion activitiesusingGuidewire Policy Migration Tool (PMT)andClaim Migration Tool (CMT).
- Collaborate with functional technical and client stakeholders todefine data mapping transformation and migration strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolvedata migration issuesduring SIT UAT and production cutover.
- Providehyper-caresupportpost-implementation to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to data governance compliance and security standards while delivering migration solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices in data development.
What You Must Have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1013 years of experience indata development ETL and data migration with at least5 years on Guidewire data conversion projects.
- Solid understanding ofGuidewire Core data models(Policy Billing Claims and Contact Manager).
- Proven ability to handle large-scaledata migration and transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience withSSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)andSQLdevelopment.
- Experience inGuidewire data conversionprojects withPMT (Policy Migration Tool)andCMT (Claim Migration Tool).
What Sets You Apart
- Exposure to other ETL/ELT tools (Informatica ADF Talend etc.).
- Knowledge ofMedallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)andEnterprise Data Warehousing (EDW)concepts.
- Experience withAgile/Scrumproject delivery.
- Insurance industry domain knowledge.
