Youth Support Worker
Permanent Full-Time- 38 hours per week (flexible)
Band 5 - Starting at $78448.84 Super RDO(RDO applicable for full time 38 hours per week only)

Based in Fitzroy Yarra City Councils Youth Services currently has a permanentopportunity for aperson with relevant youth work experience and qualifications tojoin the Yarra Youth Services team.
The key responsibilities include:
- Provide generalist case management and brief intervention support to young people aged 12-25 years who live work study or have a connection to the City of Yarra
- Advocate on behalf of and with young people to ensure access to services and action on relevant issues
- Establish and maintain professional effective and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders including the Youth and Middle Years Unit schools and community organisations to enhance service coordination for young people
- Provide young people and their families with accessible up-to-date information advice and referrals to other local internal and/or external services
- Participate as a member of the Youth Services team in the planning and delivery of programs and activities that address identified needs of young people
- Ensure the accurate and timely collection and storage of client data including case notes in line with privacy requirements
