The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead with purpose and drive operational excellence At Hitachi Energy were looking for a Production Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure safe efficient and cost-effective production that meets quality and delivery targets at our Jefferson City MO factory. Youll be at the heart of innovation collaborating across departments to deliver high-quality products that power a sustainable future. If youre passionate about continuous improvement team development and operational strategy this role is for you. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
How Youll Make an Impact
Lead production planning and execution to meet cost quality and delivery goals
Champion health safety and environmental compliance across operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Collaborate with Engineering Supply Chain and other teams to optimize schedules and resources
Manage production line maintenance to minimize downtime
Support customer visits and showcase manufacturing capabilities
Develop and mentor team members to achieve operational excellence
Prepare and manage annual production budgets and resource planning
Your Background
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
10 years in manufacturing operations management
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (certifications preferred)
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
Proven leadership in change management and team development
Familiarity with SAP and process/quality engineering is a plus
