Job Description

The student awarded this position will work with students in the ENV327W class (Writing about Environmental Science) to help them meet the writing goals of the class. The TA is expected to have already completed the class themselves and to be available to attend this semesters class meetings. The TA will be available to meet with students outside of class hours either in-person or virtually.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As assigned by the instructor reviewing and editing student work
  • Meeting with students to help with writing assignments
  • Possibly directing student to the Writing Center

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

  • Improved understanding of your own writing skills
  • Experience mentoring students in their writing

Approved for 108 hours (roughly 7.2 hours/week for 15 weeks) at $12/hr.
