Join our team as a Lead Housekeeper at the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel!
Are you ready to take on a dynamic and rewarding role Were looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Lead Housekeeper.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Stocking of supplies carts and stripping of rooms.
- Picks up and disposes of trash
- Provides quality customer service to guests and occasionally performs work with minimal supervision
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times
- Maintains a clean safe hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
- Must effectively communicate with all direct reports Supervisors peers internal and external guests
- Able to work any time required to meet the demands of the business cycle (including weekends and Holidays)
- Must effectively lead a team of Housemen
- Must be fluent in all computer software chemicals and equipment to ensure the success of the Housekeeping Team
- Reports directly to Housekeeping Supervisor and/or Manager. Will work closely with adhere to and support all department policies and procedures set forth by the department Manager
- Will plan assign and direct work to housemen and team members on the shift
CERTIFICATES LICENSE AND REGISTRATIONS
- Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma GED Degree and Certificates) to support qualifications.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to the licensing rules and regulations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain in good standing a Drivers License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage on company vehicles.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
(G5/S0)
- High School diploma or GED required with previous successful Housekeeping experience preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition subtraction and multiplication tables.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The Employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 lb. and occasionally required to lift up to 50 lb. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
