Job Description
At Always Best Care we provide compassionate high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity safety and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers and CNAs to join us.
We are urgently hiring for a caregiver or CNA to assist a client in Sugar Land TX (77479). This position involves light care duties and offers a steady part-time schedule.
Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Sugar Land TX 77479)
Shifts Available:
Monday Friday: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Saturday: Potential 4-hour shift
Responsibilities:
Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to provide light daily living assistance such as meal preparation medication reminders light housekeeping and companionship.
Monitor and track client health and well-being reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
Assist with errands or transportation as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean environment.
Communicate effectively with clients families and supervisors to ensure the best care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care setting is a plus).
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is ideal but not required.
Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy patience and compassion toward elderly clients.
Must be comfortable around dogs (client has pets in the home).
Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
