Position Summary
As a Prevention Quality Engineer you will play a key role in ensuring that our machining and assembly processes meet the highest quality standards from the start. You will proactively implement quality systems prevent non-conformities and support continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced automotive environment and is passionate about driving quality excellence through structured problem-solving and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Driveline Excellence System or similar quality frameworks
Familiarity with QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) methodology
Strong analytical and decision-making skills in complex manufacturing environments
Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement initiatives and cross-functional collaboration
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent level in Engineering or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Hands-on experience in machining or assembly processes
Knowledge of Core Tools (APQP PPAP FMEA MSA SPC)
Solid understanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Experience in problem-solving methodologies
Valid visa and passport (important for travel or customer visits)
Fluent in English (minimum 80% proficiency spoken and written)
Position Overview
In this role you will ensure the conformity of manufacturing processes and the correct first-time delivery of products to customers. You will be responsible for developing inspection and testing methods maintaining documentation and coordinating containment activities to prevent non-conforming parts from leaving the plant. You will also conduct audits support the Quality Management System (QMS) and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
