Job Description

Job Title: Electronic Technician
Location: Atlanta GA
Job Type: Full-Time/Contract

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician to join our team supporting high-reliability electronic systems used in military and aerospace applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with RF components MIL-SPEC standards and IPC-certified soldering and assembly processes. This position requires precision adherence to stringent quality protocols and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble inspect and repair electronic assemblies to MIL-TYPE and MIL-SPEC standards.
Perform RF testing tuning and troubleshooting of electronic components and subsystems.
Conduct precision soldering and rework of SMT and through-hole components following IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
Interpret complex schematics engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Use oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers signal generators and other RF/electronic test equipment.
Perform continuity checks voltage and current measurements and functional testing.
Support the development and integration of military-grade electronic systems.
Document work performed and follow established processes and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications:
3 years of experience as an Electronic Technician preferably in a defense aerospace or high-reliability environment.
Strong working knowledge of RF systems and components.
Familiarity with MIL-SPEC/MIL-TYPE standards and practices.
IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 certification strongly preferred.
Experience using electronic test and measurement equipment.
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and electrical schematics.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Experience:
Experience with environmental and performance testing for military applications.
Background in manufacturing or maintaining mission-critical systems.
Previous work on radar communication systems or defense electronics.
$50000 - $65000 a year
