Role/Department: Corporate Social Media Strategist/Public Relations


Were seeking a Corporate Social Media Strategist to lead the development and execution of a cohesive forward-looking social media strategy that aligns with our business goals. This position is responsible for elevating our brand across corporate social media channels (LinkedIn Instagram X etc.) driving further engagement among stakeholders and partnering with the business unit social channels to amplify our impact. This position will own the social media roadmap create and manage a content calendar and identify opportunities and trends to expand our presence in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Strategic development: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with corporate brand business goals and marketing objectives. Partner with social media leads embedded within the organization to ensure brand alignment and create governance structure.
Content planning and creation: Build and manage a cross-channel social media calendar that includes stand-alone social media campaigns or amplification of our broader media and internal communication strategy. Write and design compelling content tailored to each platform and campaign.
Reputational monitor and response: Proactively monitor social channels for potential reputational risks emerging issues and public sentiment; escalate and respond as appropriate to protect and enhance the brand.
Executive and ambassador program: Develop strategy guidelines and processes to consistently engage executives and employees in ambassador program to amplify brand.
Vendor management: Manage relationships with external agencies or vendors to support content execution and performance optimization.
Analytics and reporting: Monitor performance of our social media channels and prepare reports on how our channels are performing against benchmarks.


Skills/Qualifications:
5 years of experience as in social media in a corporate or agency environment with demonstrated experience creating executing and measuring a content strategy.
Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Proficient in design skills
Skilled project management and operational skills.
Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
History of working across a matrixed structure as well as independently.


Working Model: Hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)
We have a balanced hybrid working model to ensure you get the flexibility you need and the successful candidate will spend their time between working in the office and working from home.

Salary Range:

$67500 - 111500 USD

Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
