About Good News Lutheran College

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean safe and welcoming environment for staff and students. The successful candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to keep all areas of our campuses spotless. We offer casual and part-time positions with flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all areas including offices restrooms break rooms and common spaces
- Dust sweep mop and vacuum floors and carpets
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Restock supplies such as paper towels toilet paper and soap
- Report maintenance or repair needs to management promptly
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times
Experience and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects such as furniture and equipment
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
