Job Summary
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Pile Breaker to join our groundworks team on a busy construction site.
As a Pile Breaker your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently break down concrete piles to the required level preparing the site for further groundwork activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pile breaking equipment safely and effectively (manual and mechanical methods)
- Remove debris and maintain a clean and safe working area
- Read and follow site drawings and instructions
- Work as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Assist groundworkers and site teams with general groundwork duties as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations and site procedures
Essential Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience in construction or similar physical work
- Awareness of health and safety on construction sites
- Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
