Summary
This position provides overall management of macro and/or small cell work. The individual is responsible for managing all aspects of projects along with client and vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of construction and project management experience required
  • Experience managing multiple discipline projects within telecommunications
  • Experience with DAS/Small Cell and/or macro construction projects preferred
  • Experience working in public right of way for civil/telecom projects preferred
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • General knowledge of RF equipment including radios antennas and related equipment is preferred
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and GSuite
  • Strong technical written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience communicating directly with and providing services to clients
  • Ability to give direction and training to Engineering/Construction peers and teammates
  • Ability to multi-task and work on distinct functions of overall project simultaneously
  • Ability to compile closeout documentation and reports
  • Proficiency in driving processes to keep committed timelines through various stages of project(s)
  • Ability to manage team of employees based on scale of project over several years
Supervisory Responsibilities
As project scale increases the project manager would need the ability to both identify potential candidates and manage team consisting of construction manager(s) and project coordinator(s).
Essential Functions
  • Negotiate pricing and manage sub-contractors as it pertains to construction
  • Work to identify new resources as required by the project for suppliers and subcontract labor
  • Issue or oversee issuance of vendor purchase orders to both suppliers and sub-contractors as needed for project.
  • Compile and submit matrix pricing bids with assistance of project coordinator as needed by client
  • Procure materials as needed for projects including purchasing and delivery
  • Responsible for scheduling construction activities through either in house or subcontract labor resources and report schedule to client
  • Responsible for updating client trackers daily/weekly for various stages of completion based on construction schedule
  • Attend weekly conference calls with client to provide progress updates
  • Identify critical issues that may impact/delay overall project timeline and work with supervisor to present solutions to client
  • Manage project coordinator(s) to oversee administrative duties (permit submittals purchase order requests etc.)
  • Collaborate with SAC and A&E teams on front end to determine best construction solutions for client
  • Responsible for budgeting and monthly revenue with assistance of Senior Project Manager (PM) and/or Division Manager
  • Effectively communicate with Senior PM/Division Manager on regular bases regarding schedules status productivity and performance
  • Work with local utility provider and/or city authorities to ensure the company is meeting all requirements and performing in market
  • Establish and maintain good relations with clients partners and local authorities aimed at safeguarding and promoting client interests
  • Oversee the planning and execution of bulk project
  • Provide support to all team members by assisting in prioritizing and managing workloads
  • Provide day-to-day production support for project issues
  • Troubleshoot lines and antennas issues including PIM/Sweeps
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand walk use hands and fingers to feel and handle reach with arms and hands talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job the employee frequently is required to stoop kneel and crouch lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
Work Environment
Approximately 70% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 30% travel may be required in support of the positions responsibilities. Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
