Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. overtime as needed including weekends.
Job Summary: Responsible for delivering packaged products between warehouse and maintain transfer truck in good sanitation and working condition. Operating a push pull machine while stacking and taking down packaged product on slip sheets and/or pallets and loading carriers (trucks trailers). Responsible for operating scan guns to maintain product traceability and inventory control. Manually stacking and wrapping packaged products and maintaining quality products (ensure proper counts appearance of packaged products etc.. Responsible for inspection (checking hoses and working condition of the equipment) of push pull daily and maintaining records related to inspections cleaning and scanning of product. Also responsible for placing seals on carriers (trucks boxcars) once product is loaded. Helping with warehouse functions sanitation other loading when needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 21 or above and possess a valid license and clear driving record.
- Must be willing and able to drive an automatic and/or standard transmission.
- Must possess basic math skills (add subtract multiply and divide)
- Must be able to read speak write and understand the English language.
- Must possess basic computer skills to operate scanner.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 4 ft.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to stand or walk for periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by Supervisor.
