Job Summary
Salary: $60000 - 70000/year
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in PCB assembly testing troubleshooting and repair. The ideal candidate will support the development prototyping and production of electronic assemblies by ensuring high-quality testing and efficient diagnostics of printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble inspect and test PCB assemblies to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform functional in-circuit and system-level testing using various test equipment (oscilloscopes multimeters signal generators etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty PCBs down to the component level.
- Document test results issues and repair actions accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype builds and product development support.
- Assist in maintaining test setups tools and equipment calibration.
- Interpret technical drawings schematics BOMs and assembly instructions.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics assembly PCB testing and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical documents.
- Experience using soldering equipment rework stations and inspection tools.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610 IPC-7711/7721) is a plus.
