What you get to do:
- Supervise develop and support the Timekeeping and Scheduling.
- Oversee all daily and bi-weekly payroll processes including timekeeping functions pay period closings auditing for accuracy and shift differential verification.
- Coordinate implement and centralize scheduling functions across operational areas while supporting schedule production and acting as backup when needed.
- Collaborate with park and departmental leadership to drive scheduling and timekeeping efficiency improve processes and ensure team member support.
- Conduct regular training sessions for park leadership on supervisory-level scheduling tools and timekeeping systems.
- Analyze and review timekeeping data to support operational decisions payroll accuracy and reporting needs.
- Calculate tips gratuities and various incentive programs to ensure correct compensation for applicable departments.
You will also:
- Work in a team environment and interact with others in a professional manner
- Analyze labor & staffing patterns
- Create disseminate and revise area schedules
- Produce schedules in accordance with company policy
- Identify trends and make recommendations for process improvement
- Provide support to operational management teams
- Prepare line schedules for budgeting
- Provide support and training for team and labor management applications
- Maintain accuracy of team forecast and operationaldata
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business need
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid Florida Drivers License and the ability to meet company driving guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelors degree or pursuing a degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in timekeeping scheduling payroll processing and team leadership; hospitality industry or park supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience with Workday TMM applications or United Parks proprietary scheduling systems preferred; ability to troubleshoot scheduling tool errors and manage line schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required especially Excel (pivot tables data manipulation); Access experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational time management and problem-solving skills; able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skillsboth verbal and writtenwith the ability to interact professionally with ambassadors guests and all levels of leadership.
- Experience representing scheduling/timekeeping teams in meetings and providing support to Business Analysts or other departments.
- Able to analyze staffing trends generate reports and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in group settings showing confidence and leadership in decision-making.
- Physically able to perform job duties including standing walking lifting up to 10 lbs. bending reaching and using cleaning chemicals as needed.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including opening mid and closing shifts weekends holidays and in various indoor/outdoor environments and weather conditions.
