Crittenton Childrens Center is the Kansas City areas premier provider of psychiatric care for children adolescents and their families. It is located on a picturesque 96 acre campus in south Kansas City (near Longview Lake) providing serenity beauty and privacy to assist with the healing process.
Shift: Mostly Mon-Fri 9-5. Occasional evenings and weekends to support special events and outings (twice a month at most). Time can be flexed to accommodate weekend and evening events to maintain limit of 40 hours worked per on-call or holiday responsibilities.
For more than 120 years weve cared for the emotional health of Kansas Citys children and families. Today we offer one of the areas most comprehensive behavioral health care programs. And we are backed by the complete resources of Saint Lukes Health System.
We are currently seeking a full time Art Therapist
- Provides individual and group therapy interventions and contributes to treatment plan for children and adolescents.
- Assists in developing programs completes assessments documents behavior and progress.
- Responsible for creating and implementing community integration outings.
- Assists in developing and executing special events programming throughout the year.
Requires:
Masters Degree in related field and ATR with intention to pursue ATR-BC.
1 - 3 years of experience working with at risk youth.
Must have a clean driving record.
