Main Accountabilities:
Lead Engineering authority for projects/tenders with low to high complexity for Flexible A.C. Transmission Systems (FACTS) Technology aligned with Power Quality Solutions (PQS) Business. Drive the technical solution of small medium or large projects/tender with cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.
Coordinate with Project/Tendering team (i.e. System Engineering Primary/Mechanical Engineering Secondary/Electrical Engineering Control Engineering) Commissioning Project managers SCM Civil / steel design functions consultants end customers etc.
Activities Involved:
- Driving the technical solution in coordination with other departments (i.e. System Engineering Primary/Mechanical Engineering Secondary/Electrical Engineering Control Engineering) and support Tender Manager/ Project Manager for assigned Project/Tender.
- Evaluating risks and opportunities strategizes mitigation of engineering disciplines.
- Interacting with customers contractors suppliers. Attends project/Tender meetings and presents all technical aspects of project/Tender assignments
- Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within the organization. Shares best practice across different projects and disciplines
- Evaluating the overall cost of the engineering disciplines and getting approved from Business Unit Head
- Utilizing standard processes tools and techniques. Ensuring that engineering activities are complied with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
