Job Description
Were hiring for a CDL Driver position for a nationwide transportation company with an open account in Mobile AL. This is an over-the-road (OTR) dry van position with an open recruiting status.
Position Details
Were looking for a total of 40 drivers with a need for 20 solo drivers and 20 team drivers. Both trainees and experienced drivers are encouraged to apply. The hiring states include Alabama Florida Louisiana and Mississippi. You must live within 300 miles of the 36544 ZIP code.
The position involves regional lanes within the Southeast. The shifts are both day and night and weekend work is required. Home time is scheduled for every two weeks and drivers can take holidays off.
Youll handle various types of freight operations including live load live unload preload and drop and hook.
Compensation & Benefits
This is an OTR pay package with an average weekly earning between $1400 and $1500. The estimated weekly mileage ranges from 1900 to 2100 miles. Youll receive $15.00 for each stop and unload pay is dependent on the specific account. A Driver Performance Bonus is offered. There is no transition bonus. No specific endorsements or certificates are required for this role.
