Job Description

Join Our Team as a Sales Manager at Johnson Electric!
Location: Vandalia Ohio USA (onsite)
Travel: Up to 50% across the USA

As our next Sales Manager youll be at the forefront of driving growth in our warehouse automation product line across North America. Your expertise in technical sales and automation technologies will be crucial in engaging new customers identifying inefficiencies and presenting solutions that can increase throughput in conveyance and sortation lines by up to 250%.

What Youll Be Doing:

Conduct market research to identify and target potential clients in warehouse automation
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets
Build relationships through networking outreach and industry events
Qualify leads and assess client requirements and pain points
Provide technical expertise and consultation on automation solutions
Prepare and deliver customized sales presentations and demonstrations
Negotiate contracts pricing and terms to close deals
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Collect market and customer feedback to guide product development and marketing
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity

What Were Looking For:

Bachelors degree in Engineering with a minor in Business Administration or related field
35 years of experience in technical sales applications engineering or business development in warehouse automation/material handling
Proven track record of acquiring new clients without pre-existing contacts
Strong technical understanding of automation technologies conveyors sortation equipment and industrial systems
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated results-oriented with analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient with Word Excel PowerPoint
Willingness to travel up to 50%

Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience in international warehouse automation markets
Background in advanced automation product launches
