PRTR IT Recruitment is looking for a Software Tester to join our client who focuses on Information Technology.
Job Description
- Collaborating with the development team and business analysts to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Developing and executing test cases test scripts and test scenarios to validate software functionality.
- Conducting functional integration regression and performance testing as needed.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting - Identifying documenting and prioritising defects and working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Implementing and maintaining automated testing scripts to improve efficiency and coverage of testing activities.
- Conducting regular regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Working closely with developers business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach to testing.
- Creating and maintaining test documentation including test plans test cases and test reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Engineering or similar field.
- 3 years of experience in software testing and Quality Assurance.
- Proficiency in manual testing and test automation tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
- Have expertise with Databases (SQL Oracle DB2).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills should be well-versed in speaking English.
- Having HIS knowledge.
