Assist clients with their direct and indirect tax compliance requirements and recommend solutions that support their overall business objectives
Support clients to ensure they are consistent with good business practices and with the applicable tax laws and rules
Preparation and/or review of tax computations and returns for clients
Advising on clients payments lodging appeals or objections and following up on these matters with the Inland Revenue Department
Serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams participating in due diligence andstructuring engagements related to transactions that private equity and strategic corporateentities pursue
Managing multiple relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
Proactively identifying opportunities to grow the business
Prepare reports presentations participate and contribute at client meetings
Contribute to learning and education by participating in internal and external training and becoming a subject matter expert in tax laws and regulations
Requirements
Part qualified in a professional body ICASL/CIMA/ACCA/CPA/ CMA or Attorney-at-lawor any Degree holder in Finance/Accounting
Minimum 3 years post qualifying experience in Taxation
Experience in handling tax due diligence assignments including cross border transactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong grasp of business and technical issues industry trends and practices
Ability to handle multiple assignments independently
Experience within a professional services firm will be an added advantage
Dedicated team player with excellent leadership qualities
