Main Responsibilities
A Day in the Life

The Customer Marketing Lead for Neuromodulation Portfolio will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial marketing activities in our APAC regions. This entails establishment of local marketing plans engagement with the sales teams customer segmentation and development/execution of marketing strategies and campaigns on a regional level; product launches execution to ensure successful adoption of new innovations local promotional activities regional customer engagements and local congresses/events organization.

In the role you are a strong marketeer strategic thinker deliberate executer committed team player and close collaborator able to drive strong engagements with sales teams broader APAC marketing & sales organizations and customers. You will be a member of our International Marketing Leadership team and support our Operating Unit (OU) in advancing our capability to lead the neuromodulation market in our APAC region.

Job Summary:

As the Customer Marketing Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving customer engagement and loyalty across the APAC region. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to regional needs ensuring alignment with Medtronics global goals. Your focus will be on understanding customer insights improving the customer experience and delivering impactful marketing campaigns to drive growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic insights:

  • Develop and implement customer-centric marketing strategies for the APAC region.

  • Identify regional trends customer needs and competitive landscape to inform strategy.

Customer Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers healthcare providers and stakeholders.

Marketing Campaigns:

  • Manage targeted marketing campaigns to support product launches and customer retention.

  • Ensure campaigns are culturally relevant and resonate with diverse APAC audiences.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Partner with sales product and regional teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.

  • Serve as the liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure feedback is integrated into strategies.

Performance Measurement:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness using metrics to optimize future efforts.

  • Prepare regular reports showcasing outcomes and ROI.

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or related field.

  • 5 years of experience in customer marketing preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry.

  • Strong understanding of the APAC regions cultural and business nuances.

  • Proven track record in developing and managing marketing campaigns.

  • Fluency in Japanese and English

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a multinational corporation with cross-functional teams.

  • Knowledge of MedTech or healthcare industry trends.

  • Proficiency in multiple APAC languages is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in marketing tools CRM platforms and data analytics.

Location:

  • This role is based in Tokyo Japan with occasional travel across the region.
