Job Description

Shannon is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible (BC/BE) Anesthesiologist to join our exceptional healthcare team in beautiful San Angelo this role you will perform surgical anesthetics including comprehensive regional anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties. You will collaborate with our skilled CRNA team and be an integral part of providing anesthesia care across a wide range of complex and specialty-driven surgeries. Our medical center offers services and specialties not typically found in rural settings providing a rewarding opportunity for clinical practice in a supportive environment. We have a 98% physician retention rate with our specialty group of more than 40 specialties.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties including interventional and non-interventional cardiology obstetrics urology cardiothoracic neurosurgery otolaryngology orthopedics and general surgery.
Perform comprehensive regional anesthesia techniques.
Collaborate with our CRNA team to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management.
Provide preoperative and postoperative care and consultations for patients.
Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary throughout procedures.
Respond promptly and effectively to any adverse reactions to anesthesia.
Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records.
Stay current with developments in anesthesia practice and technologies.
