DescriptionIn This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Maintain a safe work environment in accord with company policies.
- Produce quality parts/assemblies and eliminate the cost of non-conformance.
- Reduce lead times and optimize production cycle to conform to make-to-order.
- Maintain competitive cost associated with machining and assemblyincluding labor material tooling inventory etc.
- Achieve productivity levels to maximize contribution to cost control and Marshalltown FCS operating profit.
For This Role You Will Need:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
- Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming(machinist positions).
- Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.
- Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
