The UHealth-University of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a full-time Epic Pharmacist/Analyst 1.
The Epic Pharmacist/Analyst 1 - Central analyses implements and operates the computerized pharmacy information systems and its relationship to pharmacy information management. The Epic Pharmacist/Analyst 1 - Central assists the team with implementing building upgrading and modifying the application and assists application team members with optimizing the applications configuration function and access. The Epic Pharmacist/Analyst 1 - Central assists the team with day-to-day application support and resolving application issues.
Core Responsibilities:
Aids with the design development implementation and maintenance of the application and assists with all phases of testing and document workflow design.
Performs basic analysis of new releases and determine how they will impact workflow.
Assist with identifying issues and the work to resolve them.
Provides day-to-day application support evaluating and resolving service tickets implementing requested application changes and retrieving requested data promptly.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
Participates in on-call rotations and support.
Maintains regular communication with team members and participates in weekly project team meetings.
Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Become knowledgeable about UHealths policies procedures and business operations

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records files reports and correspondence.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
