This is more than just driving a bus-its about helping people live full and independent lives.
What does a Bus Driver do
As a Bus Driver with The Arc Lexington you will provide safe and reliable transportation for the people we support to and from the various programs they attend throughout Schoharie and Fulton Counties. Every day youll play an important role in ensuring that individuals can participate in programs activities and community life. Your job is not only to get them where they need to go but to do so with patience respect and professionalism.
Bus Drivers are often the first and last friendly faces that individuals see each day. By transporting them safely and on time you help set the tone for a positive experience and a successful day. This is truly work with purpose.
Qualifications were looking for:
- A valid NYS Drivers License with at least 2 years of experience.
- A valid NYS Class B Commercial Drivers License with Passenger endorsements.
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to safety and dependability with a caring and respectful approach to the people we support
