Are you ready to make a significant impact in the compliance realm Freddie Mac is seeking a passionate and experienced Compliance Examiner Senior Manager to join our innovative Single-Family Acquisitions team. This is your opportunity to be at the forefront of exciting developments in compliance. You will lead inspiring examinations by conducting on-site or virtual assessments and quality assurance reviews that evaluate financial institution activities ensuring compliance with policies procedures and both federal and state laws. Engage with industry leaders by collaborating directly with financial institution management to discuss findings and implement effective solutions. Drive impactful reporting by generating comprehensive reports that identify significant risks and evaluate operational effectiveness enhancing our compliance strategies. Shape the future by recommending policy changes and establishing procedures that directly influence our organizations operations.

Our Impact:

The Single-Family Acquisitions Team is responsible for managing compliance and operational risk for the division.

Your Impact:

In this role you contribute your knowledge of single-family risk management to:

  • Oversee Counterparty Risk Assessments
  • Evaluate effectiveness of Counterpartys risk management program.
  • Design control systems to address areas of concern or new strategic initiatives.
  • Liese with other department heads ensuring all business operations are in line with business policies
  • Create and administer training programs designed to keep colleagues up to date on necessary compliance and risk topics
  • Lead by example setting clear expectations providing guidance and fostering a productive team environment.
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment enabling high employee morale engagement and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years related experience in the realm of compliance.
  • 4 years management experience leading teams managing projects and implementing risk programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards rules and regulations.
  • Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to curating executing and monitoring compliance projects.
  • Experience with reporting procedures auditing processes and remediation of control deficiencies.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $151000 - $227000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position experience skill set internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
