Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant for the Office of the Provost plays a vital role in supporting academic operations and faculty processes. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Provost and the Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Learning this co-supervised position provides administrative and organizational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Office of the Provost. Key responsibilities include assisting the Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Learning with faculty-related initiatives coordinating administrative tasks and facilitating communication across academic departments. The Administrative Assistant frequently interacts with students faculty and staff as well as various Academic Affairs offices College departments and external partners fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree that must be conferred by the start date of the position. Minimum of 4-6 years of administrative support work experience required. Project management training preferred but not required. Proficiency with event planning and communications is highly desirable.
