Job Description
- Deliver high-quality patient-centered nursing care to PCU/Telemetry/Med-Surg patients.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms.
- Titrate vasoactive medications and manage pressors.
- Manage patients on High Flow oxygen therapy and BiPAP.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and intervene as necessary.
- Document nursing assessments interventions and outcomes per facility policy.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Safely float to other units within scope of competency as needed.
Education:
- ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) required; BSN preferred.
Experience:
- 3 5 years of recent inpatient nursing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU/MS/Telemetry experience in a Level I Trauma.
- Experience with titrating pressors and managing vasoactive drips required.
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Proven competency in managing telemetry and respiratory modalities including High Flow and BiPAP.
Certification:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
Licensure:
- Active and Valid RN license in the state of Massachusetts REQUIRED
