Enterprise Portfolio & Value Manager

Position Overview
Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Enterprise Portfolio & Value Manager to support its agile transformation by facilitating Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) across a strategic enterprise portfolio. This role requires a collaborative leader with deep expertise in agile methodologies lean governance and enterprise-level portfolio operations. LPM experience is mandatory for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the launch and management of value streams within the enterprise portfolio
- Implement governance frameworks for intake prioritization and decision-making to optimize value delivery
- Manage the portfolio Kanban and facilitate governance decisions (stop/pivot/persevere)
- Monitor Lean Budgeting guardrails to ensure appropriate funding of initiatives
- Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps for planned work
- Oversee reporting of portfolio metrics including OKRs and value metrics
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align project prioritization with strategic goals
- Partner with Agile Coaches to identify and address gaps in LPM practices
- Adjust portfolio strategy and scope in response to evolving business needs
- Serve as the primary liaison for strategic goal owners and initiative leads
- Build and maintain strong relationships across business units stakeholders and vendors
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience managing complex cross-functional programs
- Advanced knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Lean Portfolio Management
- Expertise in project management including change and risk management executive reporting and data aggregation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track progress identify gaps and recommend improvements
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all organizational levels
- Experience delivering presentations to both virtual and in-person audiences
- Prior experience in financial institutions is required
- Demonstrated success in launching value streams and implementing enterprise-level LPM
