Job Description
Job Title: Operating Room (OR) - RN
Location: Santa Fe NM
Type: Full-Time 4x10 Hour Shifts Per Week
Shift Timing: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM (4 days per week 10 hours per shift)

Pay Range: $65/hr - $69/hr on w2 Position Summary:
Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our surgical team. The OR RN will coordinate and implement high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This position is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical judgment a commitment to safety and a passion for perioperative care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients conditions before surgery
- Ensure the OR is fully prepped with required equipment implants and instruments
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments during operations
- Monitor and record patient vital signs throughout procedures
- Evaluate and manage postoperative care
- Review and maintain complete documentation per protocol
- Adhere to infection control safety and confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Shift: 4 days per week 10 hours per shift
- Timing: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact State license
- BLS Certification (required at hire or within 2 weeks)
- Must maintain all required certifications; no grace period for renewal
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience required
