Job Description
CTC is an industry leader in HVAC Control System integration for Building Management Controls Systems. CTC is seeking a high energy motivated Sales Professional to cover Connecticut Western Massachusetts and Rhode Island. This position reports to the Sales Manager.
Primary Responsibility
Identify qualify and close business opportunities in companys geographic territory
Develop and maintain relationships with the engineering community within the companys geographic region
Assist the Engineering MEP community in prebid document preparation such as Specifications for Instrumentation and Controls for HVAC Control Diagrams and Control Strategies for the use in construction projects.
Increase CTC Building Solutions presence within Southern New England selling to our 3 target personas Building Owners Mechanical Contractors and Specifying Engineers
Establish long term relationships with clients
Add value to the clients financial decision makers
Takeoff and estimate from construction documentation to provide a sales proposal
Prepare RFIs for projects
CRM experience i.e. Salesforce Act Goldmine or other software
Attend pre-bid meetings and job walkthroughs
Set up well thought out and professional presentations
Effectively communicate with other company departments
Travel (typically required 25% of the time) within the sales territory
Attend industry and association events to further enhance business relationships within the industry

Qualifications
Experience working with Building Automation Systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Programs
Knowledge of HVAC building automation and system integration
Knowledge of IP based network and building automation communication protocols and systems. (Niagara Tridium BACnet LonWorks Modbus)
