We are opening back up a position for a Device/Selenium tester/Test Lead in Chicago.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with hands-on experience in device testing and Selenium automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of applications across multiple device types (mobile tablet web-enabled devices) while contributing to the automation framework and execution of test cases using Selenium.

Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for device-based applications (mobile tablet smart devices).
Conduct manual and automated testing across different platforms operating systems and screen resolutions.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver (Java Python or similar languages).
Validate device interoperability responsiveness performance and UI consistency.
Perform regression integration smoke and exploratory testing for new and existing features.
Identify document and track bugs; collaborate closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating test scripts into automated workflows.
Work with cross-functional teams (development product UX) to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
Maintain documentation related to test plans test execution and quality metrics.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field.
3 years of experience in QA or software testing with at least 2 years in device testing.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and frameworks such as TestNG JUnit or Cucumber.
Proficient in test scripting using Java Python or JavaScript.
Familiarity with mobile testing tools (e.g. Appium BrowserStack or Sauce Labs) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI).
Working knowledge of REST API testing (using Postman REST Assured etc.) is an advantage.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
