About the Role

The Oracle Fusion Managed Services Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery governance and continuous improvement of Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP HCM SCM and related modules) managed services. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive operational excellence build scalable service delivery models and ensure high customer satisfaction while managing a large distributed team of Oracle Cloud professionals.

The Director will collaborate closely with senior executives clients and internal operations teams to align service delivery with business objectives revenue targets and customer success outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery & Governance

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Oracle Fusion Managed Services operations including incident management service requests enhancements and ongoing system optimization.
  • Establish and enforce ITIL-based service management frameworks (Incident Problem Change Release).
  • Ensure all SLAs OLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved or exceeded.
  • Oversee global support operations ensuring coverage escalation handling and proactive monitoring.

Customer Success & Relationship Management

  • Act as executive sponsor for key managed services clients building trusted advisor relationships with customer leadership.
  • Conduct regular service reviews health checks and roadmap discussions with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality automation and cost efficiency.

Team Leadership & Talent Management

  • Lead mentor and develop a high-performing global team of Oracle Cloud consultants service delivery managers and support specialists.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing skills and certifications are maintained to support Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to enforce PTO timesheet compliance and resource management policies across the Managed Services organization.

Financial & Business Management

  • Own the P&L for Oracle Fusion Managed Services including revenue forecasting margin optimization and cost control.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Pre-Sales to shape managed services offerings pricing models and proposals (fixed-price outcome-based or consumption-based).
  • Drive upsells and cross-sell opportunities through ongoing customer engagement.

Transformation & Innovation

  • Develop and implement automation AI/ML and monitoring tools to modernize support and reduce manual intervention.
  • Partner with Oracle and third-party vendors to leverage best practices product roadmaps and innovation opportunities.
  • Contribute to organizational transformation by aligning managed services with the broader consulting and project delivery practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or masters degree in information technology Business or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15 years of IT service delivery experience with at least 710 years in Oracle Fusion/Cloud Applications.
  • Proven track record of leading Oracle Cloud Implementation/managed services at scale (multi-client multi-geo).
  • Strong understanding of ERP HCM SCM processes and Oracle SaaS ecosystem.
  • Experience managing P&L contracts SLAs and client relationships at the executive level.
  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ITIL certification preferred Oracle Cloud certifications highly desirable.
