The Founding Elementary Principal will launch the organizations first campus expansion serving as the architect of the newest campus and key bridge between the network and the local community.
The organization is a highly-rated public dual-language charter school serving students across multiple campuses. The school blends international curriculum with state standards preparing students to be multilingual globally-minded citizens. The diverse student body learns in small class sizes with personalized attention and commitment to academic excellence and cultural richness.
The new campus will open with early elementary grades with plans to grow each year. As the founding leader the principal will design systems from scratch with backing from central office for operations HR finance and instructional coaching. The vision team and culture will be shaped by this role. The first year will focus on building the team engaging families and community and finalizing the vision for academics and school culture.
Establish school presence through community partnerships and stakeholder engagement
Recruit hire and onboard founding teachers and staff
Lead family engagement and student recruitment efforts
Develop academic schedules staffing plans and classroom assignments
Create shared values rituals and traditions unique to the campus
Partner with central office to ensure facilities technology and materials readiness
Ongoing Responsibilities
Drive academic vision and continuous improvement cycles
Observe classrooms coach teachers and lead professional learning
Analyze student data to guide instruction and interventions
Mentor and grow teacher-leaders into future school leaders
Integrate hiring evaluation and professional development
Maintain inclusive rigorous school culture
Partner with families through transparent communication
Celebrate diversity and foster belonging for all students and staff
Oversee campus operations budget and resource allocation
Ensure compliance with charter state and federal requirements
Masters degree in education or related field required
Principal certification preferred
Minimum 3 years of school leadership experience in elementary setting
Experience with dual-language or immersion education preferred
Strong instructional leadership with measurable student achievement results
Commitment to equity inclusion and culturally responsive leadership

Salary starting at $95000 commensurate with experience
