Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Managerto oversee the review drafting and editing of a wide range of commercial aviation contracts. The Contracts Manager will play a key role in ensuring that agreements are accurate legally sound and aligned with organizational objectives while mitigating risk.
Requirements
- Review draft and edit contracts agreements amendments and other legal documents to ensure accuracy compliance and clarity.
- Identify assess and mitigate contractual risks while protecting the organizations interests.
- Collaborate with internal business units including finance sales operations and legal to align contract terms with organizational policies and objectives.
- Negotiate contract language with external parties when required.
- Maintain and update contract templates clause libraries and standard terms.
- Track and monitor contract performance obligations and key deadlines to ensure compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Support continuous improvement in contract management processes and systems.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; JD (law degree) or prior experience as a paralegal strongly preferred.
- 5 years of experience in contract management contract administration or a related legal/commercial role.
- Strong knowledge of contract law legal terminology and commercial risk management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to analyze complex agreements and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Aviation and Aerospace contract experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills keen attention to detail and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
