Description

Helping Hand is seeking a passionate Behavior Analyst (BA) to join our Clinical Services this role the BA will provide behavior support to students and clients mentor Behavior Technicians (BTs) and ensure high-quality compassionate care. The BA will help create a supportive environment for both clients and team members while upholding our mission to build inclusive person-centered services.

SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:

  • On-site position weekdays40 hours per week
  • Salary range $60000-$63000/year (Salary/Exempt).
  • Salary based on skills and experience.
  • Up to 8% annual bonus potential

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Supervise and mentor Behavior Technicians including regular meetings and trainings.
  • Review behavioral data incident reports and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with families schools and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attend IEP/IDT meetings and support consistency across classrooms and treatment rooms.
  • Stay current with ABA research laws and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required; either graduated from or completing Masters degree from an accredited university in applied behavior analysis within 6 months of hire.
  • Actively working towards certification as a BCBA; must take examination within timeframe established upon hire.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders and other diagnosis (i.e. intellectual disability developmental delay etc.).

Skill Sets:

  • Ability to conduct and interpret assessments via team and individual evaluations.
  • Strong problem-soliving and decision-making skills.
  • Sound organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple urgencies as required.
  • Must hold a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and ongoing motor vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to promote and adhere to company values.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about to assist students access file cabinets office machinery etc.
  • The ability to observe details at a close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Consistently position self to maintain files in file cabinets or assist students.
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in all situations.
  • Occasional movement of students by wheelchair or other mechanical devices.
  • The person in this position may encounter students exhibiting physical aggression; must be comfortable working in periods of crisis and feel comfortable de-escalating individually or as a team.
