Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Process and Productivity Improvement:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency reduce waste and enhance product quality.
- Evaluate current production processes identify inefficiencies and propose engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to implement process enhancements and best practices through automation opportunity.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Partner with operations to drive Kaizen and continuous improvement projects.
Power BI & Automation:
- Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to monitor manufacturing KPIs such as cycle time OTD output OEE etc.
- Automate routine data reporting tasks using tools like Power Automate Excel and SQL.
- Integrate data from various sources such as MES system Excel and other systems to support real-time decision-making.
- Automate recurring production and quality reports to reduce manual effort and human error.
- Perform routine data extraction and trend analysis.
- Provide insights through visualization and simple statistical analysis.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and improve dashboard usability.
Cross Functional Collaboration and Support:
- Work with production teams IT and maintenance to implement automation and improvement initiatives.
- Provide user support for dashboards reporting or any new digital tools.
- Support on manufacturing improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Industrial Engineering Computer Science or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or process improvement role and data analytics.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Power BI dashboard/report creation Excel and automation tools (e.g. Power Automate Python SQL).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
