The Office Manager/HIS performs the administrative functions of scheduling/coordinating client appointments and providing quality customer service. This position is responsible for the oversight of the front desk area supervision of the Receptionist staff and administrative supervision of the Medical Assistant(s) at an integrated clinic.
The Office Manager/HIS verifies eligibility and benefit packages and obtains co-pay co-insurance and deductible information for all patients receiving behavioral health services at COPE; assists patients with financial screenings and with obtaining/retaining health insurance benefits; for non-RHBA patients processes referrals and prior authorizations for services in a timely manner corresponds with patients who owe money to COPE for rendered services and contacts patients who missed an appointment or did not make a follow-up appointment to schedule.

Must be 21 years of age (automobile insurance requirement) and possess a valid AZ drivers license with a clean or acceptable driving record. An unacceptable driving record includes (but is not limited to) the following:
Other driving related violations may be considered unacceptable. At time of job offer submission of 36 month (three year) driving record from DMV will be required. These standards must be maintained throughout employment and up-to-date driving records are reviewed regularly for current employees.
