Job Description
- Design develop and implement fullstack web applications using React for frontend and Python for backend development;
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces for our ecommerce platform;
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect frontend and backend systems;
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle high traffic volumes;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive customer and transaction data;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes;
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in retail and ecommerce;
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in both frontend and backend systems;
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in fullstack development with a strong focus on React and Python
- Proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of backend development principles and experience with Python frameworks (e.g. Django)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL MongoDB)
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git.
- Experience with Haystack.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Understanding of retail and ecommerce industry trends and challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
