Key Responsibilities:
To handle transition of accounting activities from one location to another location Apply the project timeline for each milestone sit in with processing team and document operational procedure ensure the transition progress toward the project plan coordinate and communication with relevant stakeholders to fix the problem.
To handle new platform implementation co-ordinating with project teams Attend new system user training Evaluate the process in existing platform to assess the requirement for new platform provide localization requirement for new platform setup work with process owner to document the to-be process and operational procedure in new platform.
To strictly implement Maersk policies and control processes in general accounting. Assure high-quality adherence to regional legal standards and assure timely and high-quality period-end book closure on the AR side for a designated area.
Process customer master data maintenance write off Bad Debt claims to damaged products and document review and correction and achieve service delivery goals and provide first-level support for technical and functional issues within the organization.
Co-ordinate and collaborate with the GSC team and the Frontline team.
Ensuring timely and accurate responses to emails and inquiries
Contribute to the idea of process improvement and drives the process improvement process.
Key measures
Transition project and new platform migration project go-live successful
All AR accounting postings in the book are in line with policy and with adequate supporting.
All AR requirements are thoroughly tracked and resolved in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOP).
Expected to ensure zero to minimal error on all processes performed
Job Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 2-3 years of OTC experience in a Contract Logistics company
Primary Language: English
Expectation is to write/read/speak fluently - B1/B2
ERP Hands on Oracle
Working hours: 8AM - 5PM CST
Working Days: Monday - Friday
