Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate automated and manual chemical process equipment and conduct associated activities such as sampling chemical/material handling cleaning and maintenance in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures current Good Manufacturing Procedures and Safety guidelines.
- Perform manual and computer operations (PCR-2A and PLC or equivalent experience) to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures.
- Accurately record and analyze against standards all processing data collected from instruments DCS PLCs Pi BDR LIMS etc. to ensure operating standards are met. Make approved adjustments as appropriate to maintain process parameters within designated limits.
- Acquire process stream or product samples as per company procedures; send to IPC Lab for testing; record and analyze results for necessary action.
- Inspect finished product to assure adherence to specifications such as appearance foreign substances and packaging or labeling requirements as required.
- Receive and check raw materials and chemical intermediate deliveries and complete appropriate records in accordance with company procedures (MFPs/EOPs/LOPs/SOPs).
- Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures Good Manufacturing Practices Good Laboratory Practices and Safety guidelines. Maintain the compliance status required by company and facility standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software.
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a drug screening.
